about

tota-tota makes personalized storybooks for children, where your child is not a reader of the story — your child is the story. You give us a name, an age, and a photo; we give back a keepsake your family keeps on the shelf for years.

Why we started

We are parents. We went looking for a gift that would make a child feel genuinely seen, and we kept finding the same thing: a generic book with a name stamped on the cover. So we built the book we wanted to buy — one where the child on every page looks like our child, and where the story is written around who they are.

What we make

• Personalized illustrated storybooks — your child's name, age, gender, and likeness woven through the whole book, not just the title page.
• A digital edition (PDF) you can download and read on any screen, on the same day the book is approved.
• A printed edition on premium paper with a sturdy cover, made to survive being read a hundred times.

How it works

1. Choose a story. Pick the adventure that fits your child from our catalogue.
2. Personalize it. Add their name, age, gender, and upload a clear photo.
3. Review before we print. We send you a full preview of every page. Nothing goes to the printer until you approve it.
4. Receive it. The digital edition arrives by email; the printed copy is delivered to your door anywhere in Egypt.

How the illustrations are made

Our illustrations are produced with AI image technology guided by our own artwork and art direction, then reviewed by a human before anything is sent to print. The result is an illustrated character inspired by your child's photo — a drawing in the style of the book, not a photograph pasted into a page. We think that is what makes it feel like a storybook instead of a photo collage.

What we care about

• Your child's privacy. Photos are used only to illustrate your book, are never sold or shared for advertising, and are deleted 90 days after delivery. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
• Getting it right before it is printed. The preview step exists so that a wrong spelling or a photo you do not love is fixed on screen, not discovered in a package.
• Answering you like a person. One small team, real replies, every day from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
